About the name:
I chose the name Winds in the East in reference to a quote from Mary Poppins (also used in Saving Mr. Banks, which has become one of my absolute favourite movies).
Winds in the east, mist coming in,
like somethin’ is brewin’ and about to begin..
Can’t put me finger on what lies in store,
but I feel what’s to happen all happened before…
As anyone familiar with the story knows, the winds in the east brought Mary Poppins to the Banks family and brought a fractured family back together.
Now, I don’t claim to be “practically perfect in every way” like the beloved character of Mary Poppins, but it is my dream and my hope to help people create or restore order to their homes, and with that order, to help them achieve a sense of peace and comfort.
My business is all about inviting in new possibilities and embracing transformation and growth!
